美国国务院根据1961年颁布的双边教育文化交流法案(公共法 87-256,即 Fulbright-Hays 法 案)的行政法规, 任命美利坚中华科技协会为以下两项交换访问者计划(Exchange Visitor Program, EVP)的主办者.

 

一.  2000年3月27日批准的 P-3-5984 丹佛多元文化学生交流计划

 

“A program of Chinese Association for Science and Technology, Inc., to bring to the United States Foreign Secondary School Students who will live with American host families selected by Chinese Association for Science and Technology, Inc. for one semester or one academic year, while attending secondary school to enable exchange visitors to acquire a knowledge of American life, especially with regard to education, family and community to promote the general interest of international educational and cultural exchange.” – 摘自美国国务院首 席副助理国务卿 William P. “美利坚中华科技协会的该项计划将把外国高中学生带到美国, 这些学生将寄住在由美利坚中华科技协会所选择的美国 人家中, 时间为一学期或一学年, 在学习的同时还使交流访问者了解美国人的生活, 特别是教育, 家庭和社区, 以增进对教育和文化的国际 交流的普遍兴趣.” (中译文)

二.  2001年2月8日批准的 P-3-6047 管理, 商业, 贸易和金融培训计划
