WHO IS CAST

The USA Chinese Association for Science and Technology, hereinafter referred to as CAST, is a non-profit organization. CAST is a publicly supported organization and exempt from United States federal income tax as an organization described in section 501(c)(3). With the help of a few leading figures in the Colorado Chinese-Americans community, long time Colorado residents and US citizens Dr. Xue-wei Wang and Dr. Yingbei Zhang established CAST in 1992.

MISSION STATEMENT

CAST was founded to dedicate itself to the promotion and enhancement of mutual understanding and the development of cultural, educational, social, and economic ties between the US and China. CAST supports the expansion of global awareness and is designed to help eliminate cultural and language barriers between China and the US in the development of new partnerships.

ACTIVITIES

• Networking for Academic, Business, Cultural, Social, and Educational Purposes

  Utilizing its great network in the US and its connections within China, CAST organizes and sponsors exchange visits in various fields and industries

• Information Consulting

  CAST gathers information and maintains a comprehensive database in areas concerning various complex issues facing contemporary on US and Chinese societies. CAST help businesses and individuals working with China research topics reflecting the trends of the times and spanning a wide range, including politics, economics, international & social issues, technology and local government systems.
